Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

We live in an apartment in MD The landlord sent a letter saying they want my 18 year old who is still in high school to come sign the lease Can they force us to do this?

It depends on your lease/contract with them. If you already have a valid lease and it does not require all residents over 18 to sign, then they cannot force you to do so. Go to the Maryland Attorney General's website for local legal contacts you can speak with about this. Regards,
