Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

We live in a condo community in Fort Washington, Maryland. Our trash gets collected between 1230am and 3am every night. The noise from the trucks wake us up and disturbs our sleep. We complained to the condo association board, but nothing has changed. Is there any laws that can prevent the trucks from collecting trash so late at night?

The answer depends on whether you live on public or private streets. I assume private, since the garbage is being picked up so late. Your condo docs probably state that no nuisance is allowed on the property -- which most certainly includes noise. File another formal complaint with the condo board and appear IN PERSON at the next board meeting. Explain that the are violating the nuisance provision by allowing this. Explain that if it doesn't stop, you will go to court and obtain an Injunction to force them to stop. If that doesn't work, lawyer up.
