If I was not on the mortgage documents, am I entitled to proceeds of the sale.

Entitlement to proceeds of sale depends on who owns the property and whatever arrangements might exist between the owners. Generally liens must be paid off and any proceeds after paying off the mortgage get split between owners. This might be changed by court order or agreement.
