can a second mortgage, brought to forecloser be paid off after a auction sale of the home?

Typically, the mortgage company is the one which "bought" the property at the foreclosure sale. They would expect you, as the defaulting borrower, to pay all of their foreclosure costs, which includes attorney's fees, auctioneer fees, advertising expenses, court costs, etc. Contact the foreclosure department to find out how much they are looking for to transfer title back to you.
