Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

My non-married partner and I are both on a deed to a house in MD. We are splitting up and I would like to move out before the house is sold but I will still be paying 1/2 of the mortgage. Does she have any right to restrict my access to the house?

No-as an owner of record you have equal access to the house. But it's understandable that once you leave, she wouldn't want you coming in unannounced. So it would be a good idea to work out an understanding that once you move your things out and relocate, you will communicate with her if you need to gain access.
