Can a property recover his residential property when it was fraudulently sold by a third party who misrepresented to the buyers that he was the rightful title owner?

Yes. I strongly suggest you retain an attorney experienced in real estate matters. If the new owners of record acquired owner's title insurance, they will be protected. If they won't cooperate in restoring title to you, you will probably have to file a lawsuit known as an action to quiet title. Unless the party who sold the property pretended to be the rightful property owner, and was not asked to produce i.d., or had fake i.d., it's hard to see how this could have happened, because a title search done prior to settlement should have revealed the legal owner.
