Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

I purchased some furniture on line over a year ago & one of the pieces was damaged. I did everything the company told me to & I was very patient, I waited 6 months for a replacement, it never came. I had my credit card company issue me a charge back. I told the company to pickup the furniture & they refused. I live in Maryland & the company is in New York. I have been storing this furniture for well over 14 months now. At what point is it considered abandoned? Any & all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Send them another notice that if the property isn't recovered within 30 days you will treat it as abandoned. It sounds like it's not worth their while to get it back. If you don't hear from them within that time frame, you can use it or dispose of it as you see fit.
