Refinance mortgage

Married 3 yrs. Moved into husband home. Started refinance process,

House & loan is in his name only. Is

this ok?

If he died would the house be mine?

At this time we do not have a will.

I do not work.

If he has a Last Will and Testament that provides that the house goes to someone else then it will. Other claims to the house may negate your ability to take ownership.

It is better to have the house titled in both names and to have Last Will and Testament(s) properly prepared by an attorney.
