Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

Sell prperty during lease

I am renting my property under 5 years lease agreement.

During these five years, can not I sell this property for any reason?

Re: Sell prperty during lease

I understand that you own the property and have leased it to a tenant.

Unless the lease provides otherwise (and there's no reason it would), you can sell it during the lease. However, again unless the lease provides otherwise (and some do), the sale would be subject to the lease: i.e., the buyer would have to honor it.
