what is the statue of limitations for suing a seller who failed to disclose basement flooding and water damage

It would be 3 years from the date you discovered or should have discovered the problem. You must be able to prove that the seller knew about the problem at the time you bought the property and failed to disclose it, and that it was not observable or discoverable by you (or your inspector) during the purchasing process.
