Time after closing to move

Is there a legal time frame to when you need to be

moved out of a house after settlement? I go to

settlement on a houses I am selling and buying on the

same day.

Re: Time after closing to move

Unless you and the buyer have agreed to allow you to retain possession after closing, your contract requires you to relinquish possession on the day of the settlement. If the buyer is willing to enter into a post-settlement occupancy agreement, you will have to reimburse the buyer for his daily expenses--i.e., his per diem mortgage payment, taxes, and similar such items.
