Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

Is there any type of legal action I can take against my landlord for not repairing things in my apartment?

The action of rent escrow gives tenants a means to force the issue of repairs when the condition is hazardous to life or health. All Landlord/Tenant actions in Maryland are handled in the District Courts. The District Court puts out a brochure that explains how rent escrow works, including what specific forms to file. You may want to contact an attorney to discuss specifics and/or take a look at the District Court rent escrow materials.

While I hope it helps, this general information does not take the place of getting specific legal advice.
