Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Maryland

Adult/Minor Relasionship: Legal or not?

I am living in Maryland, and I am 14 years old. I just wanted to know if it would be legal for me to date someone who is 19 (soon to be 20), and if we would need to have parental consent. This relationship would be completely platonic, if that makes a difference. Thanks!

A platonic relationship is of no issue in the eyes of the law. However the age disparity that your question indicates could be actionable should more of a relationship occur.
