Legal Question in Social Security Law in Maryland

x premie w/ multible disabilties denied SSI

My daughter is an x premie. She got SSI for 2 months then I received a letter telling me I had too much in retirement.

So I reapplied a year later and then they told me I made too much money.

Please tell me what the salary cap is for a single mom of one(1)disable child that does not get child support.

Re: x premie w/ multible disabilties denied SSI

If you have no other children, you should be eligible to receive some SSI benefits for your disabled child if your income is up to $2173 per month in the year 2000. The benefits will be minimal if your income is near that level. If you have savings or other assets, not including your home and a car which is needed for trips to a doctor, in excess of $3000 the benefits will stop.
