Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
Accident
I was recently in a car accident. I was riding with my friend and a car came at a high a speed behind and hit our car. When the police came they saw the accident scene but they said they will not issue a ticket to the driver who caused the accident since there was no injury to anyone. is that correct?

Re: Accident
You can't force the police to issue a ticket. Also, if there was no evidence that he was being negligent or reckless, then it would be difficult to prove the charges in court.
