Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland

Bench Warrent & Leaving to Canada

I have a bench warrent so I hear for a FTA for a ticket I got in Maryland. I am a VA resident I never was given notice of the court date and have no idea how to Quash the thing. I never had any legal issues before. They claimed I was driving on a suspended out of state license however my license was valid the next day me and my roomate checked it. But my girlfriend lives in Canada and I want to visit but I afriad the warrent will be a issue. Will it?

For a failure to appear on driving on a suspended license, a warrant is issued. They will normally not come looking for your, but should you be stopped for any reason, the warrant will be there. You should contact a Maryland lawyer for him to try and get the warrant lifted.

You will probably be stopped at the border and arrested, or if you're pulled over for speeding, tag light out, anything, you could be arrested. The worst part is that you may be held for a while until MD decides not to come get you. If you get a lawyer, it should be easy to quash this warrant.
