Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
Car Accident Judgement on wrong person
My son was in an accident with another driver. He gave his information but they put the judgement on me because our license is one number off from each other. I don't even know how my name got in it? He is not on my insurance, the car is not in my name, how can they do this? Now the MVA will not let me renew my license.

Re: Car Accident Judgement on wrong person
I have had this happen to another client. I wrote a letter to MVA and corrected the judgment with the court. I had to show who the correct person was but they did change it after several phone calls and letters.
