Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland

Driving an unregistered vehicle

I have a problem. I purchased a car in Virginia and at that time the dealer told me they would handle the transfer of registration from my old car to the new car. They even went as far as to remove the tags off the old car and put them on the new car. I was pulled over and cited for six violations including driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving a vehicle with the wrong tags. After being towed to the DMV I promptly completed the full registration of my car which the dealer told me that they were going to do for me. What are my remedies in this situation. I am going to trial and I want to know if I should have an attorney present with me to wipe out the fines. Do you think I have a good enough case that a reasonable judge would erase the fines?? Thank you ahead of time for your counsel.

Driving an unregistered vehicle

Yes, you should have an attorney, like myself, represent, you in this case. From the facts you gave, an attorney should be able to get a not guilty on all charges.
