Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
Missed Court Date
I missed my court date and didn't realize it until I received a letter telling me that a bench warrant had been issued. My charge was driving an unregistered vehicle. I didn't miss the date on purpose, it just slipped my mind. Can I file a motion with the court to have the warrant lifted so I can get another court date?

Yes, file a motion to recall the bench warrant and request a trial date.
