Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
if i owe traffic from 2005 for about 2200.00 can an attorney get those reduced and what is the normal fee.
1 Answer from Attorneys
When it comes to court ordered fees, anything is possible. How much you will have to pay depends on, in a large part, your current financial situation. If you cannot afford to pay the full amount owed, an attorney may be able to negotiate a lesser amount on your behalf. Another option is a lawyer working out some type of payment plan where you can pay off the amount over a certain amount of time. Much depends on the specific details and the underlying offenses for which you owe the money.
