Re: Parking on a left curb

This is a vague question. I will therefore have to make some assumptions in order to answer it:

1. You have already received a parking ticket for illegal parking.

2. You parked on the wrong (left) side of the road, i.e., facing against the flow of traffic.

As we do not have any specific facts, in general, it is illegal to park on the street facing against the flow of traffic.

A further answer to your question would be dependent on what the facts happen to be. For example, if you were forced to park your car illegally due to a mechanical malfunction, or perhaps a medical emergency, you might be able to ask the judge for leniency when you go to court.

I would urge you to consult with an attorney immediately to discuss the specifics of your case if you have any charges pending against you.
