Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland

I had a seizure

I had a seizure and have gone through testing, in which they've found nothing and I'm also taking anti-seizure medication. My father, a police officer, thinks there is a law permitting me to drive since it doesn't look like a recurring condition. The neurologist said the Maryland law prohibits me from driving for three months. I can't find the specific article that mentions this particular law. We'd love your help if possible.

I am available to assist you. Contact my office at (410) 799-9002.

I am not aware of a specific provision regarding a three month waiting period but I can readily research this if such a provision exists. More important is discerning any details that pertain to any notification that MVA may have received with respect to your medical condition. It is likely that the nuerologist may have notified MVA as such requirement does exist for physicians to report to MVA. All this aside, what will likely occur is that you will have a hearing in front of the Medical Advisory Board of the MVA. I can assist you with this matter, feel free to contact me.
