Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
Stop Sign at Ped Crossing
In a shopping center, all of the stop signs read ''STOP Pedestrian Crossing'' on them. They look like normal stop signs except with the added ped xing statement. The road also has STOP written on it in white letters. Do you still have to stop all the time, or only when a Pedestrian is there waiting to cross? What about other vehicles who are waiting to turn or pull out...should you stop for them?

Re: Stop Sign at Ped Crossing
If this intersects with another roadway or place where other cars cross, i think you have to stop every time. This is different than the signs that simply say "stop for pedestrians in crosswalk."
