suspended license

I was pulled over while driving on a suspended lisence. I have no points on my driving record and no criminal record. Should I get a Lawayer?

You are charged with a serious traffic offense. You should at least consult with a lawyer. Many, like myself, do not charge for an initial consultation.

The maximum jail time for this offense in your case can be up to either 60 days and a $500 fine or 1 year in jail and a $1000 fine, depending upon the reason for the suspension.

If this case is in Prince George's county, an attorney can be very helpful to you in trying to get the case dropped or otherwise resolved in your favor. Should you decide to hire a lawyer, I am more than happy to talk with you and if I can take the case, to do it for a reasonable fee.
