Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
If I have a suspended license can I get a license in another state?
I lived in N.Y. for 5 years during that
time I had my license suspended I
moved to back to Maryland where I
previously had a license. Can I get a
Maryland license without paying my
fines in N.Y. right away?

Probably not. MVA usually checks the nationwide database to make sure your license is clear before they issue a MD license. However, I would go into MVA and apply. The worst they can do is say no.
