Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
Traffic violations
My son was in an accident where he rearended a car. Where it happened is approx. 10 hours away. (in maryland we are in virginia) He is now back in school, working to pay for school and we plan on just paying the ticket. Insurance will take care of the car damages, no injuries, checked out by rescue squad, handled by state police. Question is if the other people decide to sue, will paying the ticket have an impact on the result of a law suit?

Re: Traffic violations
No, paying the ticket should have little effect on the legal issues involved as it would already seem clear as to who was at fault(presumably your son) in the accident, and therefore the only significant remaining issue should likely be the damages resulting therefrom.
