Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland
My grandmother passed away in Maryland and did not leave a will. If I become the executor of her estate would I be personally liable for her debts if the assets in here estate were not sufficient to cover them?

No as the executor you would not become personally responsible. But no debt should be paid until the time limit for claims to be filed expires. Then, each creditor will receive a pro rata potion of the available net funds based on what percentage of the total debt that creditor comproses.
