how to take name of your home when spouse is deceased

my husband passed away 2yrs ago ..... I still have his name on my car & home, should I take it off

You do not need to take your husband's name off of the house - the title passes to you by operation of law if title was as tenants of the entireties (which it most likely was). When you convey the deed, the deed will state that ______, is the surviving Tenant by the Entirety of ____________________________ who passed away on the ___ day of ______, _____ - you keep a copy of the death certificate in your files to backup the wording in the deed.
