mother's death
My mother just passed away and she had a lot of credit card debt. She lived in a apartment and did not own a car. Basically, she had nothing. She had no will, so i want to know what do i have to do to get power of attorney to handle her affairs.

Re: mother's death
A power of attorney can only be given by your mother to you if she was alive.
You will have to go to the probate court to be appointed administrator of her estate to do anything.
