if a property is deeded to 5 children after death and 4 want to sell and 1 doesnt, can they still sell??

The easiest will be for the 1 that does not wish to sell to buy the othe 4 out. He or she will pay 4/5 of the actual market value based on a true appraisal. If that proves impossible you may need to go to court and fille an action called Sale In Lieu of Partition in which if successful the Court will Order the sale
