Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland

My father died recently. My mother preceeded him in death. I have only one sibling who was named as full beneficiary in my father's will. Prior to my father's death, he told my sibling and myself that he planned on changing the will in order to name us both as beneficiaries. He passed away before this happened (as far as I know). Because the estate is quite large I am wondering if I have grounds to contest the will?

Although the last will is presumably valid, it may be that he did in fact sign a replacement will and it cannot be found at this time. The first step would be to contact his attorney or other attorneys with whom he might have consulted, to see whether he at least left the outline of a new will with an attorney.
Will contests are difficult but are sometimes successful. Before contesting the will, however, it would be necessary to gather additional information.
