I had a mild heart attack while on the job partially related to on the job stress- This attack led to a subsequent angioplasty/stent procedure and, and continuing daily medication. I had just informally asked our HR dept to look into what I felt was harrassment from another employee that was a increasingly uncomfortable situation. There were 6 documented confrontations from this person where I felt physical/mental stress related symptoms that I feel directly attributed to my eventual attack. Do I have any rights? My salary had been significantly decreased while on full medical leave, and I still am limited to a partial work day (5hrs) leaving my salary limited and am finding it difficult to make my regular bill payments on time. Is there anything I can do to recover any lost salary? Thank you

If your employer accepts your condition as job related, you can receive worker's compensation benefits. You would then receive 2/3 of your regular salary while out of work, which is probably close to your take home pay. However, the employer and its worker's comp insurance company has to be convinced that your condition is job related and an unforeseen consequence of your duties. If this is a result of a personal problem with the fellow employee unrelated to yor job duties, they probably won't insure you.
