does my lawyer have a responsibility to be at all my workers comp. hearings

What does your retainer agreement state about his/her responsiblities to appear at ALL your hearings?

If you have concerns, voice those concerns with your attorney, take your retainer agreement to another attorney for a review, and/or hire another lawyer.

At any hearing where you are expected or entitled to be represented by counsel, your attorney should be there. If there is some proceeding where his/her presence is unnecessary, and assuming you've discussed that with your attorney in advance, they may be excused.
