Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland

WCC Hearing Desicion

What is the standard amount of time for a decision from the Workers Comp Commission in MD? I had a hearing for Workers' Comp on the eighth of this month, and I still have not received any response or judgment. I am beginning to worry, because I still am due to have pain management therapy and an addition surgery, and there is no info. I am afraid that as long as this is happening my injury is getting worse. Can anyone help with some info?

Re: WCC Hearing Desicion

Generally it takes a commissioner about 2 weeks to issue a decision, but your commissioner might have gone out of town or have a backlog that slowed things down. You could call the WCC to check on the status of your claim.
