Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland

I was hurt on my job and I have to HAVE A OPERATION ON,MY BACK MY COMPANY SAID I AM NOT ENTITLED TO WORKMENS COMPENSATION THEY SAID I WILL ONLY RECEIVE 50 PERCENT OF MY PAY AND THAT I WILL BE ON SICK LEAVE IS THIS TRUE. I CAN NOT MAKE IT ON 50 PERCENT OF MY PAY AND FELL I AM SHOULD BE RECEIVING WORKMAN COMPENSATION.

That is why there are Lawyers. Contact one immediately. You do not have to put up any money for the Lawyer as his fee must be approved by the Worker's Compensation Commission at the end you your case.
