family to family real estate transaction
If we buy a condo from a family member and have to get a bank loan,is it necessary to involve and pay a realtor?

You do not need a realtor. I do however recommend that you hire an attorney to draft the documents (purchase and sale, deed, etc).

No you do not need a Broker. You will need a Purchase and Sale Agreement for your Lender if there is one. I would suggest you have an attorney draft the Purchase and Sale Agreement, Deed etc.
