Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

An Uncle died owning a condo, no will, his son then died also with no will. Son had a half sister who has died, no one has been able to locate any children from that half sister. There are several cousins still alive.....who inherits the condo?

Thank you for your question.

When your uncle died, presumably title passed to his son. When the son died, title passed to the son's heirs at law. You really need an attorney to assist you in unwinding this matter. Feel free to contact our office.

There is a specific outline of who will inherit, depending on which side each of the cousins is from and whether any parents are alive.

I would be happy to go through this with you if you wish.
