Age Discrimination

I am a self employed ''consultant'' and I am being told I am no longer able to do the work because of my age, (70). Am I covered under the ADA?

It depends on whether or not you are truly an independent contractor. Generally, that is an issue of fact to be determined by a jury. An attorney should be consulted to determine whether you meet the "legal" definition of an independent contractor. If you are legally and independent contractor, you have no claims under either Federal or MA discimination laws.
