Legal Question in Disability Law in Massachusetts

Hearing Loss on my job

Quantity of calls is necessary on my job. In 2001 I started on my job and took the required number of calls, exceed the number of calls. 2009 now and I cannot meet the requirements due to hearing loss. I cannot hear them like I used to.About 40% of my calls are difficult to hear now. Hearing has gotten worse, now I must wearing hearing aides and this has not corrected the problem either. Due to this hearing loss/inability to meet the minimum number of calls of 22 I have not been given other tasks to due for over a year. My average is about 20.5 calls per hour. I not only struggle to hear the calls but they won't give me anything else to do.

I will be in my office tomorrow and would be happy to talk this out with you. There is not only a possible discrimination claim, but also a possible workers compensation claim. The telephone consultation is free, if you would like to talk. Thank you.
