Whether the ADA applies depends also on whether your employer has the requisite number of employees. But to be considered disabled under the statute, you must demonstrate that you have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits a major life activity and that you can perform the essential functions of your job with or without reasonable accomodation. Without knowing more about your condition, and what accomodations you believe you may require, it's impossible to say whether you might be entitled to ADA protection.

Like everything else, "It all depends". You might want to call the Federal Department of Labor or the EEOC to ask if you disability has been ruled as covered under the ADA.
