You should immediately consult with experienced counsel to explore whether you have a claim in these circumstances. Much more information is necessary to say for sure; However, from what you described, you may well have the basis for a claim. In the meantime, I would suggest that you refrain from discussing with your (former) employer any issues relating to your employment and/or separation from it until you have consulted with an attorney.

Feel free to contact me directly for a free initial office consultation to discuss this in greater detail.

Good luck.

While there is no requirement that an emploer has to write you up before firing you, his failure to do so would be relevant on the issue as to the true reason for terminating you. In general, an employer can fire you for any reason. However, one important exception is sexual harassment. There are two types. Quid pro quo harassment is when a boss or supervisor makes sexual advances and implicitly or expressly makes your submission a condition of maintaining your job. The second type is when the employer engages in or tolerates a pervasive sexual lanquage or behavior at work. I would need to speak with you in order to assess your claim.
