Legal Question in Disability Law in Massachusetts

I currently work for the telecomunications union and 45 days ago i went out of disability because im a drug addict and went to rehab. I got a phone call today while im still on disability explain i have been fired. Can they do that legally?

It depends on the reason for the discharge, the language in your contract, and whether you followed the procedure in the contract. I suggest you contact your union steward as a first option -
