Legal Question in Banking Law in Massachusetts
When is cash handed to a teller available. I was under the impression it was immediate. but the bank tells me I am wrong. They have nabbed in excess of 200+ dollars from me. I just would like to know when cash is legally available.

It becomes available when the bank "Post" it-in other words the bank needs to record and enter it-generally this takes time-so no not immediate.
