need $3000.00 car loan filed bankruptcy 9 yrs ago

I applied for bankruptcy sometime in 1995. I am retired and need a 3,000.00 car loan. am I eligible?

You probably will not have any problem getting a car loan. Bankruptcy can stay on your credit report for up to ten years, but in the present economy, I have clients getting refinanced home mortgages even while they are still in bankruptcy! Shop around for the best rate and don't be too concerned about the bankruptcy. Good luck!
