chapt 7
If a compnay goes chapt 7 and then opens under a different name are the employees of the old company considered terminated and if so can they apply for unemploment insurance?

If you are unemployed as the result of your employer filing a chapter 7 and closing its doors, you are entitled to apply for and collect unemployment compensation.
