Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

Am I a good candidate for Bankruptcy?

Hello,

Before starting the process, I was wondering if I even should! I am single 30yo, male. I was out of work for about 2 years have been working for about 2 years now. I have about 50K in debt, currently my salary is 52K and I have no real assets to speak of. I do not own a house, have about 10K in an IRA and about the same in a 401K. It seems as though I will never pay these off and are getting harrassed by creditors. I was trying to work something out but with the fees and the interest it seems like it will never work itself out. Should I start and find a good attorney? If so any suggestions in the Boston area are greatly appreciated.

Mike
