Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

home depot had wrongfully put a chapter 7 bankruptcy on my card. i hav ea very common name and they said it was a mistake. it happened at a real bad time i was about to buy a car but after finding out about this i didnt even bother. a few of my creditors lowered my limits due to this and it affected my credit score. is there anything i can do?

For starters, you can (and should) demand that the inaccurate information be removed immediately. Then we can assess if you may be entitled to any other damages.
