Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts
Massachusetts Bankruptcy Exemptions?
Where would I find the state (MA) statute which provides the exemptions under MA law and are the federal exemptions also included within the MA exemption?

Re: Massachusetts Bankruptcy Exemptions?
There is more than one statute in Massachusetts that deals with exempt property in bankruptcy - and there is no federal exemptions within the Massachusetts exemptions. You either have to choose state or federal exemptions. If you're considering bankruptcy, it is extremely unwise to be representing yourself. Get yourself a good bankruptcy lawyer - and retain all of the property you are permitted to retain.
