Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

owe taxes

we filed chpt 13 bankruptcy 16 months ago,we just found out we owe 1600 in federal taxes this year,there is no way we can pay that all at once,the bankrupcy has us living to the penny,is there help for us?

I don't see any reason why you could not amend your Chapter 13 plan to include the taxes. I assume that they relate to after you filed. In fact, in my experience, the IRS might DEMAND that you amend your plan. If you have an attorney, tell him/her to look at 11 USC �1305(a).
