Is a spouse liable for his wife's bankruptcy?

Your question is unclear. Spouse's can be liable for the other's debts. Also community assets can be drawn into the bankruptcy estate.

As such oftentimes assets get pulled in and a Trustee can seek to recover the assets.

Oftentimes we forewarn clients that filing can have someone giving up their rights as well as others.
